New ‘Tapas & Jazz’ Sundays at Tintswalo at Waterfall
21-02-2018 @ 12:00 - 21-02-2019 @ 16:00 SAST
Renowned luxury countryside hotel, Tintswalo at Waterfall now offers locals and visitors a toe-tapping culinary experience close to the centre of Johannesburg, yet far away from the madding crowd. The new ‘Tapas & Jazz’ event will take place every first Sunday of the month from 12:00 – 16:00 in the hotel’s elegant Feedroom restaurant. Priced at R695 per couple, it includes a wide selection of tapas, a bottle of house wine and musical entertainment courtesy of jazz band Blue Velvet.
The event was introduced to offer guests a fun Sunday lunch experience, combining a relaxing location with delectable food and wine – accompanied with the mellow sounds of jazz. The menu, which will change on a monthly basis, includes one starter platter and one main platter per couple, paired with a bottle of red or white house wine (or without wine, R480 per couple).
The starter platter features a selection of meaty and vegetarian bites, such as Grilled artichoke with lemon and warm chorizo salsa; and Balsamic heirloom tomatoes on baked Brie. This is followed by the main platter, with mouthwatering tapas creations including Grilled peri-peri prawn with coconut and mango; Pork croquettes with pickled apple and apple gel; and Roasted beetroot tart with herbed goats cheese and a kumquat preserve.
Bookings are essential and can be made via email@example.com or Tel: 011 300 8715. Local jazz fans listening to Devon Dalbock’s ‘Jazzland’ radio show on Hot 91.9 FM on Sundays between 21:00 – midnight can also stand a chance to win two complimentary Tapas & Jazz tickets every week.
