This is an educational drive for the Bushbuckridge community and the surrounding areas. We aim to raise funds that will meet educational needs to enable the children to have a better school experience.

It falls within the 16 Days against violence against women and children it will start with a march of about 2 kilometres. The theme of the march will be about men being responsible to their families again and to treat the women with dignity and respect. The march adds to our educational campaign as children coming from homes that have domestic violence do not concentrate well at school.

Money raised will go a long way in meeting the following needs:

·     Offering bursaries to deserving kids in Grade 12 who want to go to tertiary

·        Buying school uniforms for school kids

·        Buying menstrual pads for girls who can’t afford

·        To approach companies to donate food for kids from impoverished homes.

Food and soft drinks allowed. No alcohol.

Gates open 10am

Venue: Thulamahashe Stadium, Bushbuckridge
Date: 3 December 2016
